I started playing music at age 7, writing songs at age 9, programming at age 12, working as a developer at age 16, offering consulting services at age 20, writing science fiction at age 42, and blogging at age 47. I started a company in 2005 to provide consulting and custom software development services. I have a lovely wife, a wonderful son, two cats, a money-pit of a house, and I play guitar and keyboards in a jam band.
I went to South by Southwest (SXSW) in 2011 to actually get out of the home office and meet people other than clients (for the first time in a long time), and the experience was…fascinating. Read the interviews here, get the whole story in the forthcoming book.
Why “A Blog with No Readers”? Well, at SXSW I asked people if they wanted to be interviewed for a blog with no readers – and everyone said yes. So I decided to make it official.
